1. Vendor pricing pages read
For every tool used in our curated stacks, the vendor’s own pricing page is read and the lowest paid price and the tiers are compared with the band we publish. A product page that stops responding is recorded the same way.
2. Public user reports collected
Hacker News, Reddit, Product Hunt and YouTube posts from the last 90 days are collected and summarised into praise, complaints and dealbreakers. Every point keeps the URL it came from.
3. Human review before publishing
Each weekly run opens a change request. A person reads the diff, rejects anything that looks wrong and merges. Only merged changes appear here, on tool profiles and on stack pages. We do not claim hands-on testing of every tool.
